  • Field Hockey - Junior Varsity Girls'

    2024 - 2025
    Head Coach: Lawrence Court

Westminster’s Junior Varsity Field Hockey, following in the footsteps of the highly successful Varsity Field Hockey team, has emerged as a dominant force. The Martlets play a tough Founders League schedule, often against much larger schools. The success of this competitive team is well deserved, with many players going on to play on the Westminster Varsity Team.

The junior varsity team plays a significant developmental role Westminster’s Field Hockey program. Players on the junior varsity team focus on a demanding program of conditioning, advanced skills, advanced strategy, possession, execution, patience, confidence, trust and teamwork.

The Martlets play home games on one of the many fine fields that comprise Westminster's 35 acres of playing fields, as well as on Hovey Field, a synthetic turf field in one of the most beautiful facilities in New England.
